-2 students (Year 2 & 3 ). Both of them are Cikgu Umi's son.
The FIRST day of camp, we began with the registration of email account. I choose gmail. The reason is because for blogspot lesson, they required gmail account.
The students were asked about what is an email? What is the purpose of email and why we are using email etc. So far, my students got some ideas of email. Most of them said email is letter. OK =). None of my studnets having email account before. So I taught them step by step to have an email.
We began with registration of email by fill up the form. During that time, some problems happened such as the name already taken and many more. It's ok as 1st timer =) ....
Other than that, during the registration the tough part for the students is PASSWORD. They don't get the idea of password ( some of them ask me to give them password (hehe....). Nevermind, ok they are new =) ...... However, some of them also undertand the concepts of password by covering their screen with the file.. (from their piggybacking i guess ). After, several time explaining , they understand.
The activities using email:-
1) Registeration
2) Compose Email
3) Reply the Email
4) Copy their classmate email adress and starting to email each other.
5) Printing and update the profile (paper file)
It's take the whole day!!!... (9.00 am -12.30). They are so excited with E-Mail!!
